Temperature rise will occur in the process of sulfur dioxide compression, and high temperature will accelerate the corrosion reaction rate, and may also promote the oxidative decomposition of sulfur dioxide, further enhancing the corrosiveness of the medium. If anti-corrosion treatment is not carried out, the service life of equipment parts will be greatly shortened and the risk of sudden shutdown will be increased.
3. Sulfur dioxide is a toxic gas. Once the equipment seal fails and the parts are perforated due to corrosion, it will lead to toxic gas leakage, which not only threatens the safety of field personnel, but also causes environmental pollution. Anti-corrosion treatment is the basic premise to ensure the equipment seal and operation safety.
